Overview
The pool was constructed in 1932 but change did not come about until 1981. The pond had been neglected by the local authority for many years. New Brighton Model Club (NBMC) was formed and the pond now flourishes with many splendid model boats being launched by enthusiasts bringing life and spectacle to the pool.
