Overview
Eastham Country Park is to be fund on the Wirral bank of the River Mersey.T he park provides superb views across the estuary. In 1847 the owners of the Eastham Ferry Hotel built a pleasure garden and zoo as a tourist attraction. As you can see in the pictures there are still a few old features at the Park, the Bear Pit and the old stone walls that elevated the park and its gardens. A visitor centre, Rangers office and toilets are situated in the courtyard near to the main car park There are picnic areas throughout the park close to the river.
