Dee Cycle Path

Garden City, United Kingdom

DCP21448094666 DCP31448094662 DCP11448094661One of my favourite walks with the dogs. Although sometimes it can be noisy when near the A494 but it’s still a joy to walk there. Cyclists are in abundance and normally alert you that they are nearing. It can be windy especially when the tide is turning. You can walk to the outskirts of Chester one way which is approx. 7 miles or follow the path passed the old Hawarden Bridge station in the opposite direction. Benches are available to let you rest although the terrain is totally flat.

Open all year round and most dog walkers park in the Queensferry Hotel car park
